Spiral Opener – Precise Latch Opening for Closed Rebated Doors
Single red tool (1.5 mm) for narrow rebates such as window-style door profiles.
This high-quality spring steel tool is designed for non-destructive opening of closed doors – especially double-rebated doors with steel or wood frames or internal window-rebate doors.
Suitable for:
- Double-rebated doors with wood orsteel frames
- Single-rebated doors with at least 4 mm clearance
- Window-style rebate geometry on interior doors
How it works:
The spiral opener is screwed into the narrow gap between door and frame until it reaches the latch. Further rotation presses the latch back – the door opens. Rubber seals may be pierced in the process, but no permanent damage occurs.
Tool Variants:
- Blue (Ø 1.7 mm): Big coil for standard double-rebated doors with wood and steel frames
- Red (Ø 1.5 mm): Small coil for narrow rebate or window-style doors
