Panic Door Opener - left – For Outward Opening Single-Rebate Doors
This panic door opener is designed for closed, outward-opening doors with a single rebate, such as those found in public buildings, escape routes, and emergency exits.
To insert the tool between door and frame, it is often necessary to slightly pull the door leaf away from the frame – either at the top or bottom. The tool is used to engage and release the latch (not the handle) from the outside. Depending on the door type, different pulling angles and force may be needed. Tool variants:
- Black handle: for use from top right or bottom left
- White handle: for use from top left or bottom right
Made from 1 mm spring steel, the tool is ultra-flat yet strong. To enlarge the gap, a door wedge, suction lifter, or pry tool can be used beforehand.
