Olive Breaker Tool – For opening locked window handles from outside

The olive breaker tool is designed for situations where closed windows with lockable handles need to be opened from the outside. In combination with a diamond glass saw, it offers a highly effective alternative to breaking the glass pane.

The tool consists of a stainless-steel tube with two integrated tension-resistant steel cable. Using two drilled holes in the glass, the tool is inserted and positioned over the window handle to shear off the lock mechanism with a powerful pull.

We recommend cooling the drill point with water during operation to reduce thermal and mechanical stress and extend tool life.

Safety note: Always wear an FFP3 mask (against glass dust), safety goggles, and gloves.

Instructions

Application

First, use the diamond glass saw to cut a 45 mm hole into the windowpane – ideally close to the handle.
Then, drill a second hole at a 45° upward angle, approximately one tool length away from the first.
Insert the olive breaker tool through the upper hole, keeping the long steel cable on the outside.
From the lower hole, use the included feeder wire to hook the tool over the window handle and pull the tube into position.
A strong pull on the steel cable shears off the locking mechanism of the handle.
The window can now be opened using a window lever tool.
