Latch Hook Set – Open Closed Plastic Windows from Outside Without Damage
This specialized tool set allows closed plastic windows to be non-destructively opened from the outside – a major advantage for firefighters and emergency personnel during operations.
How It Works:
First, use the included opening card or a wire to detect the position of the mushroom cam locking points. Then insert the appropriate latch hook (left or right) into the window rebate, push it upward, and tilt it back to catch the locking pin.
Next, attach the included cord loop with carabiner to the hook’s eyelet. A targeted downward strike (e.g. with a round object) moves the window handle into the open position – and the window pops open.
Note:
Not suitable for wooden windows, as they typically use double rebates.
