Perfect for operations where only the cylinder core needs to be removed – not the entire cylinder
Core pulling plates are used when only the core of a lock cylinder is to be extracted – for example, to operate the lock mechanism afterwards using a screwdriver.
Without the plate, the pulling force of the bell tool would act on the entire cylinder. By inserting the core pulling plate between the cylinder and the puller, the force is directed exclusively onto the core. The core is then pulled through the hole in the plate – leaving the outer body of the cylinder intact.
